COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special.
Lemony with a certain creamy character making for a highly distinctive, refreshing beer. Part of our single varietal hop series. Uses rare, single variety Sorachi Ace hops from Japan. What’s in it? Pale Ale, Torrefied wheat from Warminster Maltings. Japanese Sorachi Ace whole hops from Charles Faram of Malvern. Water, yeast, finings.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2011 Cask-conditioned at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 11/08/2011. Clear gold with a decent white head. Lemon fruit and grain aroma with some floral hops. Flavours of creamy malts and citrus fruit with a dry finish. Good.

Cask. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of spices, marmelade, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruits, and marmelade, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Typical sorachi ace aromas of lemon and sweet bubblegum with a hint of hay. Taste does not work for me on this occasion with an unpleasant dandelion leaf note, perhaps due to the interaction between wheat and hop? Pale blonde with a slight hop haze. Fairly thin in body
