COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A deceptively light, hoppy beer with citrus tones and a distinctively bitter finish to herald the Spring! What’s in it? Low Colour Maris Otter, Wheat and Crystal Malt from Warminster Maltings, Challenger, Celeia, Cascade whole hops from Charles Faram of Malvern, Burtonised water, yeast, finings.

Cask handpull, The Criterion, Leicester. Golden with a white halo. Slight crystallised lemon, grassy hop aroma. Bite of yeast and breadiness, some elder and lemon, firm bitterness. Hints of nougat and finishing nuttiness. Ordinary.

Cask-conditioned at the Hillgrove Porter Stores, Bristol 12/02/2011. Clear gold in colour with a slight, white head. Aroma of apricots and tangerines with a hint of creamy malts. Flavour had plenty of citrus fruit, with some balancing sweetish malts and decent dry finish. Good.
