Bought from the barrel at Stroud farmers’ market. Cloudy gold in colour. Very tart aroma, with some apple juice and a bint of funk. Flavour had some apple skin before the dryness kicked in - this was massive, to the point of being a salad dressing. Went very well with mature cheddar. Ok.

Bag in box at troon beer fest 07. Aroma is very cider vinigar, tart apples. Taste is almost sour its so vinigay, tart apples try to save it for me, but just arnt enough.

From the barrel - Leicester BF. A dark gold coloured cider, almost ginger brown. The aroma is sweetish apple with maybe some sugar. The taste is very dry with tons of mouth numbing tannins. Too dry for my liking.

Pretty much concur with Kooks’s assessment. Like dry, rather sour, apple juice. The farmyard funk isn’t very apparent. A pleasant enough drinking farmhouse cider, but not the most characterful. From the barrel, London Drinker Beer Festival, March 2005.

Big apple juice aroma with a cloudy lemon coloured body. Sweet and sour apples with a thin slightly watery body. Ok but not great.
