1.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 omega (215) - NEW ZEALAND - DEC 30, 2011
33% less flavour. 33% less taste.
I guess people drink this beer as it is wet and has alcohol. For the masses.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 jimthechap (795) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 16, 2011
Pours clear with evident carbonation. No head, during or after the fact. Aromas are clean and... and... and... yeah. Nah.
Full mouthfeel. Short, tingly and just a notion of malt of malt character and no hops. Thin. Actually, insipid. Just nothing there.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 Ungstrup (23961) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - APR 13, 2011
Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of metal, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, caramel, malt, and honey, leading to a dry cardboardy finish.
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 mkel07 (1808) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 15, 2010
330ml bottle. A thin veil of clean white foam sits atop an amber base. The foam vanishes to from a dishwater ring around the edge of the glass. Malt and hop aroma prepares you for the bland flavour that is to follow.
1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 phaleslu (3543) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 21, 2009
Bottle at Harry’s Pool Bar in Queenstown. When I ordered, the bartender said, "Eh, probably don’t want that one, mate. It’s no good." Unfortunately, this was one of two beers on his list that I hadn’t tried on my trip to New Zealand, so I went with it anyway. He was right. Green bottles are always a tip-off for me, as skunky Euro-style beers are not my thing. This was basically just one of those. Pours clear gold with a big white head. Skunky aroma and flavor, and also grainy, with metallic notes and an unappealing mix of sweet and sour. I was probably making a face from the nastiness of this one as I shot pool with a buddy, so I followed it up with something to totally erase the memory and got a Redwood Cellars Old Mout Cidre.
0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 DuffMan (4426) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 3, 2009
Bottle. Pours clear golden with a short-lived white head. Aroma of copper penny and corn syrup. Flavour is truly bad, unpleasant corn syrup combined with a chemical character that is hard to describe-- not quite plastic, not quite petroleum, but somewhere in between (burning plastic perhaps?). Metallic note in the finish. This isn’t just bland, it is truly BAD. Drainpour.
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 TheGrandMaster (2313) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - APR 12, 2009
Forgot to add my rating for this, most likely because I was trying to shut the memory from my mind (and palate). All I am allowed to remember now is that it was ghastly - as much flavour as sucking on a piece of flint. Surely it is against the Fair Trading Act or Consumer Guarantees Act for this to be called or sold as "beer".

The beer was horrible, poured a very pale yellow, was very sweet on the palate with a background flavour of cabbage
0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 kempicus (355) - Bakewell, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - NOV 20, 2008
Tough one to rate, scores don’t seem to go low enough...pours a pale yellow with a soap scum looking head that disappears in an instant, it is in a branded glass so i’ve given it 2/5 for appearance. This was a freebie otherwise i wouldn’t have bothered with this, i only went into the pub to take a piss but ended up drinking someone else’s....to flavours...not many, thanks goodness it was served at what seemed to be -2 degrees because that probably covered a multitude of sins. What i could glean from it was it was sweet and sulphury and that’s about it, a real sorry excuse for a beer....i still wake up sweating with nightmares about my experience.
