Can from a 12 pack let over at a party. Thanks to what ever A-hole brought this garbage into my home....Lovely pale, pale yellow color with a Bubbly white head that looks like it should be on a nice Belgian beer. Smells like, well, not much. A little sweet, but drinks down like effervescent water. Pretty damn disturbing, Nothing I would ever recommend. It’s a truly horrible beer. I do find it funny the Hobbs logo looks like Hobo to me at first glance.

Can from Kroger in November. Pours clear pale color with an average frothy white head that diminished quickly with minimal lacing. Moderate sweet grainy aroma. Medium body and soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. I would not recommend either of the D.B. Hobbs beers to a freind.

gold with large bubbled lace under a quickly diminishing white head. sweet, honey, grain aroma. carbonation is low for a lager. flavor tastes artificial and metallic. sweet and candy-like.

It’s the American Standard. Not much else I can say, except that it was cheap.

This was one of the more odd lagers that I have come across. Malty, and crisp, but with a very weird almost grape like after taste that I could not quite place. This gave the beer an almost sweet profile.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2007 From a 355 ml can purchased at a Cincinnati, Ohio Kroger’s - Pours a pale golden brew with a fizzy white head of foam and sweet, malty aroma. T%tastewise... eh, just another American pale lagher.
