COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American Amber ale that combines medium hop bitterness with a pleasant malt backbone. Hopped exclusively with galena hops. This Amber ale is well balanced, making it a very session-able beer.

Taster on tap at the brewery. Labeled 5.9%; 37 IBU. Completely hazy amber orange color. Thin of-white head. Good thicker sheets of lace. Grainy, light caramel malts.. Some nice grapefruit citrusy hops. Moderate sweet taste, lightly zesty.. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. Solid, aromatic, pretty hoppy amber ale. Very nice, fresh-tasting hop character to it, but not over the top hoppy. Good bigger malt to it, too.

Draft to taster at the brewery. Looks solid; a fairly transparent copperish-brown with sticky off-white lacing. Smells and tastes mildly sweet and malty with an average mouthfeel. Easy to drink, but forgettable.

Draft. Poureed clear dark amber color with an average fizzy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Flavor was moderate bittersweet flavor with an average bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good solid brew.

Draft at the brewpub. Overall, a pretty good amber. Sweeter aroma but some nice hop bitterness in the flavor. Well done and not boring.

On tap at the brewery. Amber color with a thin off white head that leaves sheets of lacing. Dusty grains in the nose. Some bready malts and a light citrus hop flavor. Okay amber but otherwise really not very interesting.
