COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We crafted our fond farewell to summer as a collaboration with John Solomon and Chris Frashier. The pair are well known for their fine (and tasty!) work at Old Dominion in Ashburn, VA, during the mid 90’s.

"EL HEFE SPEAKS!" is a traditionally brewed German-style Hefe. It is fermented around 65° F and hopped with German Tettnang hops. 11 IBUs and 5.3% ABV make this one extremely drinkable. Perfect for the start of September.

Draft at brewery in DC served in a plastic pint glass; cloudy ambery-golden color with white head. Aroma notes of banana, clove, wheat malt sweetness, light spices and faint citrus hops. Taste adds some bubblegum and lemongrass notes. Light body, moderate-light carbonation, creamy with fruity yeasty finish. Pretty decent Hefe.

World of beer, reston tap: Pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma is clove, hops, banana, and yeast. Taste is moderately sweet with way more hops than is normal in the style. Pretty good.

Low carbonation but maybe thats because my can is six months old. Anyways, easy to drink, nice flavor, tastes alcoholic but look its only 5.2%. Real good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This was a nice surprise, a nice change up for the middle of winter. Appearance was pleasant light Amber, nothing distinctive, light carbonation no lacing. Light citrus yeast aroma. Flavor was similar: light spice wheat with some very mild bitterness finished with a nice yeast breadlines that was chewy to me in a good way; light crisp but with some enjoyable substance ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can, courtesy of Travlr - Thanks! Cloudy yellow, decent head. Nice aroma - banana, and some nice hops, too. Fairly full bodied. Flavor is nice sweet malts, some banana and bubblegum, and finishes with grassy hops.

Hazy straw color with white head. Lots of wheat and yeast in aroma (like pizza dough). Medium to low carbonation, sweet malt/wheat and orange citrus. Some mild spicyness and slight bittering in the finish. Too sweet for my taste, but nothing off or offensive.
