3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 GT2 (5810) - Jurupa Valley, California, USA - AUG 21, 2012
Tap at CK. Pours a clear, lighter orange. Thick, white lacing. Nose is pool cleaner, tangerine, melon. Some tap line sanitizer perhaps in here. Taste is minerally, dry, soapy, bitter. Aggressive bitterness. Some palate wrecking tannins/wooly mouthfeel makes it difficult to enjoy.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 mansquito (2569) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JUN 21, 2012
Pizzeria Paradiso, Alexandria: Pours light copper with a white head. Aroma is hops, hops, and hops. Taste is extremely hoppy for a 4.5% alcohol beer. The body is rather light as could be imagined, but the flavour is anything but. They were trying to make a hop bomb session, and they succeeded; however, to be honest, I would probably have an easier time sessioning a higher alcohol, less hoppy beer.
3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Drake (6594) - Ivy, Virginia, USA - JUN 20, 2012
Served on draft at Beer Run. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of pale malts with tropical and citrus hops. The taste is earthy, resin and herbal hops with pale malts. Medium bodied and very drinkable. Nice beer.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Thorpe429 (4945) - , Illinois, USA - JUN 5, 2012
On tap at Pizzeria Paradiso in Old Town. Served in a shaker pint glass. Pours a clear light orange color with a nice white head and some good lacing on the way down Thin collar throughout. The nose caries a light bit of citrus and accompanying rind and a faint touch of pine in the background. Flavor hits with an initial moderate bitterness plus some orange rind and faint pine through the finish. Body is light with a moderate bitterness. Very nice and sessionable. This is something I’d certainly have again, and wouldn’t mind having a sixtel of this at home.

Growler. Nice finger plus of white head on a slightly hazy orange-yellow body. Lemon zest, light grapefruit, and light bready aromas. Decently hoppy and dry, biscuity with citrus hops and quite restrained. Light body with bubbly carbonation.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 joelshannon (2) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 22, 2012 does not count
Delivers exactly what it promised- a sessionable IPA. It’s a modestly, but pleasantly hopped and very drinkable lighter beer. It retains a lot of the better features of an American pale without excessive compromise. It wouldn’t be my first choice, but I’d be happy drinking it.
For all the purported beer fans who still ’crave a Bud on a hot day’, now you have a real beer to fulfill exactly that niche.

Picked up a growler and drank it the same day. Pours a cloudy, light orange with some thin white head. Nose was nice, lightly sweet, light yeast, dough, citrus fruits, lemon, orange, a little musty. Flavor was very similar, lightly doughy, some biscuit, lemons, light pine, light grapefruit. Medium bodied, zesty, dry, bitter finish. Very tasty session IPA. Would love for this to be a regular beer for them.
