Draft at Paradiso Dupont. Dark maroon color, small beige head, solid lacing. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate liqueuer, espresso. Taste is whiskey, coffee, dark bitter cocoa. Nice stuff.

Tap at PPD. Pours murky burnt umber. Weak head. Nose is sharper sour barrel, red wine, deeper chocolate ganache, thick caramel and tiramisu. Cinnamon cake and vanilla. Yum. Taste is a tad chalky and yeasty with mild hot booze, dark chocolate, rich ganache and spicy wood. Palate is thick, bitter, dry, dense. Could use less chalk and drying wood/sawdust character. Still very nice. Not as good as the normal BA version though. Less bourbon character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
