And so it was written.......
According to Mayan and Hopi calendars the "transition from one world age to another" will happen on December 21, 2012. As an homage to the "transition" DC Brau has concocted an Imperial IPA named "On the Wings of Armageddon".

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2015 Can. Poured a hazy amber with a nice tight bubbly white head. Aromas of citrus fruits, lots of floral, and sweet malts. Flavor was grapefruit, bready, caramel, flowery, bitter, and boozey. Another one that I feel didnít hide the booze as well as Iíd prefer, but thatís personal preference. Medium body and a slick texture. Lively carbonation and very bitter to finish. Super easy-drinking for a 9.2%, but just a tad too much alcohol taste. This was one I sought for quite some time though so Iím glad I got to try it. I updated this based on drinking another can last night and finding it still very drinkable with more floral notes than I noticed the first time.

Hazy light yellow pour. Nice hoppy nose. A touch sweet, then lots of hops. Easy bitter finish. Nice.

Very well balanced beer and enjoyable. Aromas of citrus. Flavor is more of the same. This beer is in great balance with the alcohol very well hidden.

Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Fruity hops, some citrus, moderate bitterness, and light sweet malty notes. Relatively balanced. Pretty good.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated slightly hazy yellow orange colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was floral and malt hop. The crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish with a medium hoppy aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of mild caramel floral hops and bread dough. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Pour from a can is a nice hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is floral with subtle hints of pine. Taste is sweet at first followed by a slight bitterness followed by a dry and bitter after taste. Goes down with a sweetness and slight but leaves a dry pine after taste.

Can : Pour is murky gold, with a one fingered white head into this glass. It retains fairly well, with sticky lacing presence here - This batch has a nice feeling overall - This rich, dank IPA has a heavy dose of tropicals on the nose. Honey and caramel, pine and grassy hops.... its really nice , honestly. The flavor profile has a very nice malt backbone with a healthy dose of sweet for the style. Carmel Honey, light bready malts - with floral and piney hop notes inter mixed with a top notch tropical mango / grapefruit hop profile here. Itís just a nice one for sure

Can from JMaxwell. Pours a dull, hazy goldish orange hue with a nice thick white head. Very sweet melony and mango aroma. Love it! Taste of citrus, zest, melon, mango, very tropical fruit forward DIPA with just enough hop bitterness. Definitely oily on the palate/mouthfeel. Finish is sweet and citrusy. In my mind, the DIPAs that I live to try and try again and again. Nice work DC Brau. I'm stuck between this and Surly Abrasive. I think I need to drink them both again! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber colored clear pour with good lacing. Aroma is candied orange peel, orange glow cleaner, and some dank weed. Taste is harsh bitter and caramel sweet. This thing is so 2008 it hurts.
