6th August 2013<>Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Hazy amber beer, little pale cream coloured head. Smoth palate, semi dry with fine carbonation. Orangey hops, light tangerine. Hop spice and a dollop of grapefruit marmalde. Finishes semi dry with a bitter hop linger. Not bad but for a dipa it lacks something. 3.5

Can at Bruce’s in London during Jack’s farewell tasting. Pours hazy gold with a moderate, frothy white head. Lovely aroma, lots of juicy grapefruit, mango, orange pith. Medium sweet flavor but not cloying at all, more pithy citrus, balanced but sturdy bitterness, pine needles, grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Well and resinous to finish, lots of grapefruit, hints of spicy pine and anise, orange, tangerine. Beautiful stuff.
