COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Penn Quarter Porter is our first in a line of draft-only limited-release beer, and it’s a robust porter! In the way that The Public is on the line between a pale ale and an IPA, this is on the line between a porter and a stout - with chocolate notes and a dry, roasted finish.

22 oz bottle. Pours near black with a thin beige head. The aroma was roaster malts, chocolate and cocoa powder, earthy with some black coffee. The flavor is deep roasted malt, creamy chocolate, black coffee with some earthy hops and moderate bitterness to the finish. Nice easy drinking porter.

Clear dark brown body with a small wispy light brown head. Nose is chocolaty and nicely hoppy with lots of citrus. The flavor is chocolaty with light roast and minimal bitterness. Nice chocolaty finish. Lighter bodied with soft carbonation. Nice Porter, a little lacking in body for a robust porter, but tasty.

On nitro tap at the brewery. Pours a deep black with a medium sized tan head. Big roast, chocolate and cocoa. Medium bodied, roast, cocoa chocolate. Thins out a bit, but the flavors hold up. Long roast and chocolate.

Pours mahogany-tinged black into a Sam glass. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Dark chocolate and espresso aromas. Medium bodied and dry with sweet caramel and dark chocolate upfront turning to charred espresso in the lasting finish.

Good looking porter, it’s cola brown with a large tan head. Aromas are roasted malts, dark chocolate, and some alcohol. Delicious flavors of chocolate, some herbal hops, a little coffee. There’s some caramel sweetness to balance the roast notes. Soft and light mouthfeel with a frothy carbonation makes this very easy drinking.
