Tap at Paradiso Georgetown. The pour is much darker than expected with a wickedly dark brown head. Nice rocky retention and decent webby lace. Aroma upfront is all fudgesickle moving to more tobacco, spice, burnt cherries, and cinnamon laden dessert. Extremely sweet nose. Taste is ashy, earthy bitter with drying semisweet chocolate and cocoa powder. Palate moves from dry and lemon tart to faux oily and heavy. Very rich for 5.5% but still could be placed under stout.

Bottle - Thanks - shared with Mette. Black - offwhite head. High malty, chocolate, roasted, milk chocolate, coffee, nice malty, ok light fresh coffee, nice malty, bread aroma, ok bitterness. Pleasant.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, bread, and coffee, leading to a dry coffee finish. Thanks madsberg for sharing.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty and chocolate. Dark roasted malty and toffee malty, dense chocolate. Bitter and dark chocolate malty.

Bottled. Thx to GT2 for the trade. Very dark brown coloured. Dense light brown head. ARoma of light roast, sweetness, chocolate, cocoa. Flavour of roast, cocoa, light coconut, sweetness. Medium to full bodied. Light roasted bitter end.

Bottle. Opaque brown black with virtually no head. Heavy roasted nose, dark malty, chocolately, milky coffee. Taste is sweet roast, light coffee, very straught, a little thin, but with a well balanced medium bitter roasted dry finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of madsberg. Pours an opaque black with a creamy light brown head. Heavy roasty, chocolatey aroma. Medium body, heavy dark roast yet never burned and bitter. Ends dry with loads of chocolate. A very enjoyable and easygoing Porter. 290512

Tap. Pours opaque with a small, frothy tan head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is chocolate, light roast, and cookie malt, lactose, dates, and woody hops. Flavor is malt dominant with light leather and smoke notes, dark fruity esters, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium to full body with medium carbonation.

Tap. Pours deep, dark brown with thin, creamy tan head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, espresso, earthy hops, dark fruit, and faint smoke. Flavor is malt forward with some supporting hops and faint dark fruit esters; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation with low warmth.

22 oz bottle. Dark brown with a coating tan head. Nose is soft coffee, malted milk balls and roasted peanut. Medium body with a buzz and a tingle. Taste is dark chocolate, prune, grass and black coffee. Finishes slightly sour.
