Can. Big airy pour, opaque, muted orange with a solid head of white foam. The aroma is of musty mash and citrus. It drinks with a similar essence -- born of wet hops and mash, this doesn’t lean in any given direction. The 7% is hard to believe. (#4606, 5/25/2012)

Can. Aroma is floral hops with some yeast but not too strong. A cloudy amber color with a light head. Mainly sweet but with some bitterness in the finish. I would like to try again, especially on draft.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Beerlando (3324) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAY 13, 2012
12 oz. can, first D.C. brew I’ve had. The pour yields a cloudy, hazy, golden-orange amber body with a short head of fading, smooth, off-white foam. A wash of suds leaves some wet, rounded spots of lacing scattered about the glass. The nose is based in mundane, aged, watered-down cereal grain, with notes of pithy, lemony hops and creamy, chiffon-like Belgian yeast. Flavors largely follow suit, showing grainy, wheaty cereal, with biting lemon pith hops and mildly peppery, fruity yeast. It’s kind of boring, to be quite honest. It just isn’t as crisp as it should be. The palate is kind of muddled and slightly flat. A little more carbonation would go a long way. Meh.

12 oz can. Cloudy orange with white frosting. Nose is yeast, custard, grass and candi. Medium light with flabby carb. Taste is slightly sweet apple, yeast, cardboard and faint bitter spice. Not a bad canned Belgian ale but is there another?
