3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 womencantsail (7100) - Garbage Grove, California, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Amber pour with an off-white head. Very strong herbal, woody, and pine hop aroma. Some orange peel, a touch of grapefruit, and tea. Sweet bread and a bit of caramel. The flavor is intensely bitter and pine forward. Herbal, woody hops. Some citrus, tea, and sweet bread. Could use more aroma and flavoring hops with less bitterness.

Spicy pine earth resinous dank flavor and aroma. Hints of bread and a touch of sweetness. Nice earthy IPA.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Kinz (3023) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - MAY 25, 2013
This gets my DC rating back, thank you very much. Also keeps with the can thing I have going on today. Pours a medium hazy orange amber, good head. Failed to remember that just because it comes from a can, it doesn’t mean there can’t be crap at the bottom. So I have a huge pile of "extras" floating around in here. Grapefruit and citrus and pine aroma, slight caramel. Flavor matches the aroma. A very solid IPA. Nicely done. Earns the standard "solid IPA score" of 3.8.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 gramity (1090) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 23, 2013
Thanks Steve! Pours a hazy dark amber red with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus and pine with some added malt. Taste is very bitter, lots of pine, grapefruit and malt at the end. Really nice and perfect out of the can while manning the BBQ.

12 oz. can shared at Dave’s tasting. Woot, my first DC rating! Pours an amber orange with a thin white head. Pleasant aroma of grapefruit and pine. The flavor is mostly grapefruit pith with a weak malt base. A bit too harsh on the palate for me.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JLLSU (238) - Acworth, Georgia, USA - MAY 12, 2013
12oz can----> NB globe. Pours an amber orange with a small thick head and clingy lace. Aroma is very piney with a hint of onion. Taste is bitter grapefruit and heavy malt (and onions). Nice medium palate with good carb. A little too malty for my IPA likings, but not bad. Extra points for floaties.

UPDATED: MAY 12, 2013 On draft at the brewery, aroma is normal hop goodness, taste is a balanced IPA, goodie
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Darwenus (405) - Virginia, USA - MAY 7, 2013
The appearance and aroma are standard IPA stuff; cloudy copper color, big foamy head, and a lot of pine and floral hops in the aroma. The flavor is outstanding. The hops hit first and hit hard, and at the finish there is a really rich, smooth, buttery malt that gives this thing outstanding balance. Compares favorably to Bells Two Hearted and the better Hoppin’ Frog IPAs.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jkwood04 (2400) - Connecticut, USA - APR 28, 2013
12oz can. Looks amber in color. Aroma of citrusy and pine hops, plus a decent amount of pale and caramel malts. Flavor the same, with a nice hoppy bitterness. Average texture. A pretty good IPA.
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 19/20 obguthr (3234) - Poquoson, Virginia, USA - APR 19, 2013
Pleasurably soapy and sweet aroma of marshmallow peeps, orange peel, orange blossoms, and grapefruit. Clear amber, thick yellow head, nice lacing. Honey, thistle, and lemongrass flavor. Bubblegum present, alcohol is not. Fantastic balance, dynamic. This is really awesome.
