The Corruption is our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA). We will corrupt your palate with dangerously drinkable malts as well as assertive piney and citrusey hop aromatics, letting some alcohol and sugars sneak through. The crimson copper color coupled with with a nose, filled with plenty of citrus fruits can’t help but bring you down to our level. This is one shady deal that you won’t be able to pass up!

From a can into a snifter. Pours a very pretty copper color. Thick white head. Mouthfeel is thick and yeasty. Nice. Taste is very well balanced pine citrus and resin. Very well balanced drinkable IPA. Not especially outstanding in this crowded segment but real solid. I'd drink, if it buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can at HOTB. This one was unfortunately on its way out when I got it. Pours a deep ruby red. Aroma is slightly dank, oniony. Taste is bready and sweet with a slight bitter finish.

Can: Pours cloudy, light amber-brown with a small, off-white head. Sweet orange, caramel scent. Orange-peel...sweet/bitter peel hops. Very easy drinker. Pleasant, even bittering throughout.

Can (courtesy of Travlr). Tangerine malt and grapefruit peel/pine aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet creamy orange malt and moderately bitter orange peel/pine flavor. Nice balance. Very good.

Fresh draft pour, keg only a few days old. Medium amber appearance. Piney aroma. Sticky, dank flavor that lingers on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Blackfin. First offer from this brewery. Pretty nice ipa with a big hop presence and citrus flavors. Nice aroma and color. Light orange with lots of lacing.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a cloudy bronze color with a huge creamy orange head that left good lacing. The aroma was strong gritty and leafy floral hops. The flavor was strong gritty and leafy floral and herbal hosp and was very bitter. Long bitter leafy floral hop finish. Medium body. Ok.

Ar: Resinous pine, lemon - pepper and juicy orange - some caramel sharpness. Ap: Amber-red, hazy - large off-white head with great retention, leaves a web of lacing along the glass sides, a ring of foam, and a top layer. T: Big pine flavor - lemon and lime accents - burnt caramel - clean, warming alcohol - bitterness is high, a bit rough - finish is more lemon and pine. P: Medium body with high carbonation - finish is dry. O: Very piney IPA - pretty heavy malt backbone, but the bright largely hoppiness keeps it in check.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2014 Can: radiant copper, muddled & hazy with a nice, thick, eggshell cap with good staying power that leaves nice lacing behind. Aroma has notes of grapefruit, orange, citrus, spicy & herbal hops, leaves, & some dank resins in the finish. Taste has watery citrus, spicy, peppery, & ashy hops, pine-y hop oils, & a pith/peel citric character in the finish. Abrasively bitter, almost. Bready malt in the aftertaste, perhaps even a touch of caramel, but the sweetness is swallowed by the heavy, heavy bitterness. I feel the insanely spicy & bitter hoppiness could be toned down just a bit here, but it’s still fairly decent when all is said & done.

21 nov 2013, tap. Light ruby, clear, no bubbles. Nose is very earthy and very grassy hops. Med body and mildly fizzy. Tastes of bitter grass stems, sweet malt, pine hops. Wow! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
