COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Corruption is our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA). We will corrupt your palate with dangerously drinkable malts as well as assertive piney and citrusey hop aromatics, letting some alcohol and sugars sneak through. The crimson copper color coupled with with a nose, filled with plenty of citrus fruits can’t help but bring you down to our level. This is one shady deal that you won’t be able to pass up!

Nice aroma of pine and citrus. Beautiful body with a head that sticks around with nice lacing. Piney and resin taste that’s more malty with a little hop finish. Well done DC Brau!

Pours a hazy yellow gold with a thick light tan head and great lacing. Aroma of citrus and rye. Taste is rye spiced and darkly bitter. leaves a spicy rye bitterness in the finish. Interesting.

On tap at Teresa’s, pours reddish copper with small to medium white head, good lacing. Something about red colored IPAs that has me knowing some sweetness or caramel malt is coming on. Got some of that, biter and ashy hops, pine, cherry stickiness, and sugar. Very hoppy but the ashy bitterness and color turned me off. Needs a bit more grapefruit or tropical hopping.

A great IPA that takes its malt seriously. First try from this DC brewery. Happy I did. Pleasant piney/citrus nose. Nice hop for an IPA, but not overpowering. Sweet malt all around. Well done.

Can from WHole Foods. Hazy copper pour with off-white head. Nose is resiny hops, caramel malt, with a slight candi sugary and honey taste. Finishes complex, dense, and delicious.

Draft at Sweet27. Pours dark amber, decent size light head. Aroma is hop and mat, flavor is sugary malt and hop bitterness to the finish. Not as hoppy as I expected, but quite sweet. Alcohol is present. First try from DCB, and it’s decent.

Tap at the Pig. Light amber pour with a thick off white head. Big aggressive citrus hop bitterness. Nice body malt with a big hop bite. Good stuff.

Pours a cloudy copper brown color. Twp finger medium lasting head with good lacing. Aroma is a sweet piney hop and citrus notes. Taste is a sweet pine with a lingering citrus fruit. Backend has a syrupy honey feel and taste. Smooth to drink

Pours amber-orange with a soapy head. Aroma of citrus, resin, and caramel. Grapefruit flavor with some caramel, and a sharp hop bitter ending. Very nice beer!
