The Corruption is our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA). We will corrupt your palate with dangerously drinkable malts as well as assertive piney and citrusey hop aromatics, letting some alcohol and sugars sneak through. The crimson copper color coupled with with a nose, filled with plenty of citrus fruits can’t help but bring you down to our level. This is one shady deal that you won’t be able to pass up!

One of the better examples of an india pale ale. This beer is widely available on tap & in can in my area, and I always find myself going back to it. Very glad DC Brau opened up.

Can to glass. Pours a clear rich amber light copper color with a decent retaining off-white head and heavy lacing. Aroma is a pungent citrusy fruity hoppiness, maybe orange and peach, with a mild malt sweetness. Flavor is a bit lacking, with a moderate lingering bitterness, not well balanced with a mild malty fruity sweetness. Light to medium in body. Solid IPA, but a bit lacking in flavor.

Pours a deep red-orange, almost brown, with a thin tan head out the can. Aroma is big on floral hops -- dank and weedy -- slight sweetness and caramel. Big caramelized sugar punch, woody/floral hop build really dries things up. Almost a char-like character on the finish, like cedar or something. Super earthy IPA, sounds east coast enough for me. Solid showing, but not my style.

Poured from a can, thanks Devin. Pours an orange copper, nice white khaki head. Aroma is light pine, citrus, and light caramel. Flavor resiny pine, honey, and caramel. Very solid beer!! Need more.

12 oz can into a pint glass. A: Pours a hazy copper color. The head is pretty tall, thanks to an aggressive pour - about two fingers high and off-white in shading. It fades at a moderate rate, and leaves behind small rings of lacing on the glass. S: The aroma is absurdly biscuity. I also pick up some floral, piny hops behind it, but wow, this has one of the strongest bread-like components I’ve ever encountered in an IPA. No citrusy notes here, sadly; considering Columbus hops don’t give off much of a citrus aroma, that’s not really surprising. T: Biscuit notes trail down into the flavor profile, and cluster near the opening. Hops last throughout the flavor profile, and are very floral in nature, perhaps even nectar-esque. Finishing bitterness is mild, balanced well by the malt backbone. I have to say, it grows on me the more I drink it. M: The body is just a shade under medium. A clean, dry finish helps to scrub off any excess resin, but it will still linger slightly as more is consumed. Carbonation is about right, maybe 5% too low. O: Very well made, but not my style of IPA. I prefer the lighter-colored, citrusy versions over the coppery, crystal-malt-and-pine ones. It’s still a good IPA, especially if you’re into the latter.

Freshly tapped at PPGT. Unfiltered orange copper body. Steady off-white/beige head. Dry and toasty, quite a nice IPA. Steady dry hop character, bold and full bodied. Well balanced. Filling, rich, well done.

small tan head with fair retention and skimpy lacing.Hazy, copper, orange color. Nice, big piney, citrusy nose. Body is medium with a soft carbonation, hint resiny, chewy. Lotsa good hop flavors, pine, grapefruit a bit earthy and dank, malts are faint and a little grainy. Dry ass finish of fruit and pine resins. Big ass bite is sure to please. Can from jra1983. Can: Poured a hazy amber color ale with large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma consists of citrus notes with strong bitter notes. Taste is also dominated by strong citrus notes with nice floral undertones and solid bitter finish. Body is full with great carbonation. Great mix of floral citrus and grapefruit notes.
