COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Corruption is our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA). We will corrupt your palate with dangerously drinkable malts as well as assertive piney and citrusey hop aromatics, letting some alcohol and sugars sneak through. The crimson copper color coupled with with a nose, filled with plenty of citrus fruits can’t help but bring you down to our level. This is one shady deal that you won’t be able to pass up!

Dark orange pour. Hops are well balanced making this a session able IPA. Very well done, an all around good ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear, copper pour with an off-white head. The aroma has pine with malty undertones. It has a medium body with slightly oily texture and lively carbonation. The taste is bittersweet with a dry finish.

On draft at Reagan airport in DC, local brewery offering. Overall average and one dimensional IPA. Resin hops on the nose with not much else. Strong bitter bite throughout the taste. Really not much flavor and only picking up bitterness and pine. This beer has an odd flavor profile, won't try again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2016 On tap at Beacon DC. Dark amber with a small cap. Strong bitter aroma. The same goes for taste. Taste a bit sharp with some hidden citrus notes. Bitter aftertaste

On tap at the Churchkey, DC. A dark copper/gold body topped by a thin white head. The nose is like an astringent East Coast IPA with a dank pineyness thrown in for good measure. Up front there are some nice IPA elements here - tangerine, grapefruit rind, molasses and roasted malt. I like rindy IPAs but there is something a little unpleasant going on here. I won’t be back for another

Translucent copper with persistent white head. Lots of resinous pine. Caramel malt. On the bitter end of balance for sure. Clean and well-made.

Can at some shitty corporate Italian place in Crystal City, VA (or MD? Fuck, I don’t know.)

Wasn’t particularly in the mood for an IPA but I wanted to recover the DC tick that was stolen from me when Capitol City moved its operations out of DC proper. Aggressively c-hopped IPA with plenty of caramel malt. Yeah, think 2005. Is this what passes for good beer on the East Coast?

PapaSkeetSkeet (1007) - Providence, Rhode Island, USA - MAR 1, 2016
Golden-orange, thin eggshell head, film that stays. Aroma is strong lemony evergreen (refreshing), toasted malt, touch of light caramel and grapefruit, hint of tropical fruit (passion fruit). Body is medium-light, oily, with some gritty texture, moderate coarseness and soft in carbonation. Flavor is bitter pine, nutty pine nuts, slightly astringent, citrus rind. Quite astringent after a while. Overall: too harsh/bitter, otherwise a good pine-oriented IPA.

Can thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear deep amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a musty grains with an earthy grass and a bit of a pine bite coming through. Flavor is similar with lots earthy grains, musty pine, some grass and a bit of bitterness.
