COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Corruption is our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA). We will corrupt your palate with dangerously drinkable malts as well as assertive piney and citrusey hop aromatics, letting some alcohol and sugars sneak through. The crimson copper color coupled with with a nose, filled with plenty of citrus fruits canít help but bring you down to our level. This is one shady deal that you wonít be able to pass up!

From the can, pours dark orange with a great hop aroma. Taste is very earthy and dry with a sweet hop finish. Love DC Brau! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Teresaís, pours reddish copper with small to medium white head, good lacing. Something about red colored IPAs that has me knowing some sweetness or caramel malt is coming on. Got some of that, biter and ashy hops, pine, cherry stickiness, and sugar. Very hoppy but the ashy bitterness and color turned me off. Needs a bit more grapefruit or tropical hopping.

A great IPA that takes its malt seriously. First try from this DC brewery. Happy I did. Pleasant piney/citrus nose. Nice hop for an IPA, but not overpowering. Sweet malt all around. Well done.

Can from WHole Foods. Hazy copper pour with off-white head. Nose is resiny hops, caramel malt, with a slight candi sugary and honey taste. Finishes complex, dense, and delicious.

Draft at Sweet27. Pours dark amber, decent size light head. Aroma is hop and mat, flavor is sugary malt and hop bitterness to the finish. Not as hoppy as I expected, but quite sweet. Alcohol is present. First try from DCB, and itís decent.

Tap at the Pig. Light amber pour with a thick off white head. Big aggressive citrus hop bitterness. Nice body malt with a big hop bite. Good stuff.

Pours a cloudy copper brown color. Twp finger medium lasting head with good lacing. Aroma is a sweet piney hop and citrus notes. Taste is a sweet pine with a lingering citrus fruit. Backend has a syrupy honey feel and taste. Smooth to drink

Pours amber-orange with a soapy head. Aroma of citrus, resin, and caramel. Grapefruit flavor with some caramel, and a sharp hop bitter ending. Very nice beer!

Can. Poured a copper color with a giant foamin head. Citrus hops and some caramel notes. Medium. Bitterness. Bread toffee notes. Bitter finish. Average carbonation. A nice full ipa. Close to a double ipa. Well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very nice hop profile here. A good introduction to D.C. Smells like tangerine and a little malt. Some pine as well. Finishes with lots of bitterness. Orange pour with decent head and lacing. Pretty high carbonation. Tap.

Cloudy, deep amber appearance with a large, off white head and good lacing. Pungent aroma of citrus and herbal hops. Dry, bitter flavors as the hops turn resinous and citrusy. A mild touch of sweetness buried in the aftertaste. Nicely constructed palate, with a medium body and a well carbonated mouthfeel. Seems stronger than the listed abv.
