Pleasurably soapy and sweet aroma of marshmallow peeps, orange peel, orange blossoms, and grapefruit. Clear amber, thick yellow head, nice lacing. Honey, thistle, and lemongrass flavor. Bubblegum present, alcohol is not. Fantastic balance, dynamic. This is really awesome.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 BuckNaked (1231) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JAN 9, 2013
Draught: Pours to a light amber colored body, medium white head. Aroma is strong hops: grapefruit, wet grass, and a touch of light malt. Flavor is chewy hops upfront (grapefruit, pine), with a strong bitterness that lasts through the finish, which is also grapefruit hops. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. My first beer from this brewery since leaving DC years ago, and this is fantastic.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Darwenus (405) - Virginia, USA - MAY 7, 2013
The appearance and aroma are standard IPA stuff; cloudy copper color, big foamy head, and a lot of pine and floral hops in the aroma. The flavor is outstanding. The hops hit first and hit hard, and at the finish there is a really rich, smooth, buttery malt that gives this thing outstanding balance. Compares favorably to Bells Two Hearted and the better Hoppin’ Frog IPAs.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Caffeinathan (5) - - NOV 22, 2012 does not count
One of the best East Coast IPAs I?ve had. In addition to the perfectly hopped flavor, it has a freshing, hoppy scent with a hint of Christmas tree. So beautiful in a glass, you can?t resist drinking it!
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Ibrew2or3 (5823) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 2, 2012
Poured up on tap at GABF 2012 with a pure gold body that exhibits a slight hop haze and supports a white head of foam. The aroma offers up snippets of citrus hops running into a bit of spicy hops and a slight sort of earthiness. The taste has a pine like hop bitterness and blends into a grapefruit hop note. Midway and into the finish I get some earthy to spicy hops joining the fun and adding a pleasing level of depth to the experience. Nice IPA.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 robgibbens (342) - Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA - NOV 10, 2011
Poured a nice copper color with a lot of lacing. Tate is smooth and bitter. Finish is not too astringent. Nice quaffable beer.
