COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Corruption is our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA). We will corrupt your palate with dangerously drinkable malts as well as assertive piney and citrusey hop aromatics, letting some alcohol and sugars sneak through. The crimson copper color coupled with with a nose, filled with plenty of citrus fruits can’t help but bring you down to our level. This is one shady deal that you won’t be able to pass up!

Dark orange color with off white head and nice thick lacing. Aroma is faint almost nonexistent but mostly malty. Flavor has light hops with grapefruit bitterness and strong amber malts. Okay overall but not great

Clarendon Trader Joe’s can during my hunt for D.C. ticks. Pours out a hazy copper color with a small khaki head and nice carbonation plus some lacing. The aroma is dank, skunky hops. The flavor starts with pine and then finishes with an earthy bitterness with a little hit of alcohol at the finish. Okay.

Pours almost amber. Aroma is resiny (?), grapefruit. Similar hoppy noyes in the taste. Palate is good.

Alengrin (3368) - BELGIUM - AUG 14, 2015
Draught at GBBF. Loose, irregularly structured, coarse head, off-white; light hazy orange colour with somewhat brownish glow. Aroma very strongly piney, spruce sprouts, grapefruit peel, orange, strawberry, mango, toast; fruity taste but clean, medium carbo, apricot and pineapple hints, perhaps an impression of strawberry, smooth caramelly maltiness, toasted and countered by a very long, very spicy, peppery, almost ’burning’ hop bitterness, piney and aromatic and deeply drying to the point that all malt sweetness is blocked in the end, leaving a long bitter aftertaste. Bold and abrasive example of its style.

Can at home. Hazy orange pour, thin off-white head. Aroma is quite grassy, pine and resin. Flavor is quite bitter, somewhat floral and with some fresh weed. Strange hops, but well drinkable.

Draught @ DCA Terminal B. This is a nice little IPA with a good hop punch. It will hold you for a long layover.

12 oz can with a 22 May 2015 canning date purchased in D.C. Orange-amber body with a large, frothy head that leaves patches of sticky lacing. This APA has the strong aroma and taste of hops typical of an IPA but with lower, moderate bitterness. Herbal, floral, tropical fruit and pine notes. Body: light-bodied with near medium carbonation.

On tap at Church Key, DC. Lightly hazy in the glass, golden on color and with a small, off-white head. Piney, grapefruity aroma with some notes of malts. It’s full bodied, soft and quite dry on the palate. Nice bitterness in the flavor, with pine cones and grapefruit. Lasting bitter finish. Tasteful and well worth a revisit. 150620

Angenehmer Geruch nach Hopfen und weißen Trauben. Geschmack kräftig, mit einem sehr bitteren Abgang.
