COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Corruption is our take on an India Pale Ale (IPA). We will corrupt your palate with dangerously drinkable malts as well as assertive piney and citrusey hop aromatics, letting some alcohol and sugars sneak through. The crimson copper color coupled with with a nose, filled with plenty of citrus fruits can’t help but bring you down to our level. This is one shady deal that you won’t be able to pass up!

Draught: Pours to a light amber colored body, medium white head. Aroma is strong hops: grapefruit, wet grass, and a touch of light malt. Flavor is chewy hops upfront (grapefruit, pine), with a strong bitterness that lasts through the finish, which is also grapefruit hops. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. My first beer from this brewery since leaving DC years ago, and this is fantastic.

Strong resin and pine, hints of bitter grapefruit, and of course the hops themselves. Ever so light sweetness, a bit earthy. Quite a good canned beer.

One of the best East Coast IPA’s I’ve had. Really big candied fruit and and subtle pine. Tastes like a big juicy mess of candied fruit its great. Theres a sweet malt backbone that doesn’t dominate the beer which happens so often. Really good ipa

Very good ipa. Aroma is more on the piney side than the citrusy (although some hints do appear). Taste is plenty of the pine, resin hop flavor that is positioned nicely by the malt, which gives a thickness and amber hue. Finish is a bitter zip with a medium body that lingers just a bit. Overall, very good.

Pours clear amber-orange with a one finger off white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine resin, dank hops, herbal/grassy hops, and some light bready and sweet malts. Taste is fresh citrus, pine, tropical fruits, herbal hops, caramel, and sweet malts. Has a medium body with a pretty creamy mouthfeel and a slightly dry, moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty tasty IPA that almost seems likes a hoppy west coast amber ale like Modern Time’s Blazing World.

A good IPA, but nothing special. A bit of citrus, a somewhat bitter taste to the hops.

12 oz can. Canned on 07/07/2014. (Grape & Gourmet) Virginia Beach, VA.
Hazy light brown colour with a small dense foamy off-white head. Citrus, pine and mild resin, moderate bitterness, sweetish malt and some dryness in the aroma. Delicious. The flavour is resiny, citrusy and piney hops, moderate bitterness, dry malt and mild alcohol. Tasty and very drinkable.
