The Public is a delicious easy drinking pale ale made from a simple recipe of quality grain and top notch American hops. Tawny hues of caramel and amber are a trademark of the Public ale as well as a delicious spruce crispness resulting from a beautiful abundance of hops! Truly an American style ale for the public.

This is a not so hoppy APA. Great color, malty, with a hint of citrus aroma. Goes down smooth and crisp. If you're looking for hops, you probably won't like this. However, if you want an APA that is more of a drinkable beverage than an event, you'll like this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nothing remarkable or memorable. Clean going down. Metallic aftertaste. Not particularly hoppy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can: DOB 2/22/16 so 2 weeks out of date. IPA glass. A: Seemingly thick, syrupy pour with almost no head. Tawny dark and hazy orange. S: Tangerine and faint honeysuckle. T: Malty and sweet flavors of slight roast and toffee although piney hops are there to offer some balance. Very underwhelming and nondescript though this can is quite old. M: Again, thick syrupy and flatly carbonated. Almost cloying finish. O: This may be pretty good when fresh but this can has showed nothing to make me buy again.

Great amber brown appearance with solid head. Aroma of sweet, citrus hops with a bit of malt. Nice. Taste is like a subdued IPA, with a little bit of smokiness. Very smooth, creamy. Good one.

Draft. Amber with white head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit and citrus. Taste is similar with strong pine and grapefruit notes with citrus and orange in the background and a nice caramel backbone. Medium mouthfeel, medium carbonation and bitter pine aftertaste.

Pours copper orange with a one finger white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, bready malts, grass, and some light sweet malts. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, moderately bitter, medium finish. Overall, a pretty nice, easy drinking, well balanced APA.

Fruity, flowery aroma. Malty, caramel flavor with a little fruit and pine. Dry, smooth finish. First thing I’ve tried from this brewery, and it’s a good one.
