Can from Drake - thanks Dan for the throw-in, hitting a DC brew for me! Pours orangey amber with an off-white head leaving spongy lace. Aroma has citrus, caramel and pine, with some woodiness. Orange juice, light pineapple, a huge caramel malty back-end and some earth/wood bring the flavor. Medium bodied and sticky. Finishes more sweet than bitter. Solid, tasty, pale. 13.9

Hazy copper color with white head. Pleasant pine aroma. Nice balanced caramel malt and citrus pine hoppyness. This is a great pale.

A@ SBWF 2014: rätt fräsch, tydlig humle, fin bitterhet men lite för enkel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Beautiful pour. Amber with off-white head and tons of lacing. Moderate to heavy carbonation. Aroma is light...grain and floral hops. Taste is very well balance and smooth with a pleasant bitter aftertaste. Good easy drinking brew.

12 oz can. Nose is very woody, dry with light citrus, caramel. Pours amber-orange with red highlights throughout, avg carb and a lacing, rocky beige head. Watery light body with caramel, lots of soapy / cleansing hops, low resin and bitterness, juicy citrus, plenty of earth and dull (decomposing) pine [actually, spruce does seem to be more on the money somehow], some spice. There’s some depressing sag in the caramel and woody/earthy hop character, but clean and easily-downed. Just wouldn’t want a second.

Can. 9/16/14. Pours hazy amber with a fluffy, dense off-white head. Aroma is citrus, pine, grass, spruce, juicy, slightly sweet, caramel; crisp and hoppy (as advertised!). Taste is a lot bigger than expected, huge up front flavor explosion; citrus, lemon peel, grapefruit, spruce, pine, hint of dry pineapple, bitter caramel, some roastiness; finish is long and bitter, grapefruit rind and a hint of roast malt. Nice lacing throughout. Full bodied and chewy mouth feel. Medium carbonation. Incredibly well-crafted.
