COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Public is a delicious easy drinking pale ale made from a simple recipe of quality grain and top notch American hops. Tawny hues of caramel and amber are a trademark of the Public ale as well as a delicious spruce crispness resulting from a beautiful abundance of hops! Truly an American style ale for the public.

Draught. This is tidy little APA with some good hop finsish and a little grassy bite.

12 oz can in Wash., D.C. - May 2015 canning. Looks great, with a slightly hazy, dark copper body topped by a durable, creamy tan head. Bold for style; as hoppy as many IPAs but with more balancing malt than they usually have. Moderate bitterness. Nice fruity and slightly floral aroma.

Poured an oranges color with aromas of light malt pine citrus and some light lenon. Flavors were juicy hops and citrus with some nice malt and front p8ne. Soil pale ale.

Can. Deep orange with perfect clarity and a dense, long-lasting khaki head. The aroma blends lemon zest, orange juice and mild biscuits; the flavor exhibits a lovely blend between bitter citrus and flowers. The finish is a bit weak, but the flavor’s are balanced and bitterness is at the perfect level. As solid as a pale ale gets, but also very forgettable.

Straight from the can. Smell is floral and malty. Taste is bittersweet caramel with a lot of bitterness. Relatively thick body.

Growler. Pours a clear amber/copper with two fingers of head. Aroma is mild with faint hop notes but mainly a caramel malt sweetness. Taste is sweet and transitions to a mild bitterness with a somewhat dry finish. Tastes like an average pale ale to me. I would prefer less sweetness.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a very small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent light orange brown colored body. The funky aroma was dank hoppy malty and musty. The sharp crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The yummy flavor contained notes of semi-sweet mildly bitter mild citrus mild caramel orange peel mildly vinous and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.
