COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Public is a delicious easy drinking pale ale made from a simple recipe of quality grain and top notch American hops. Tawny hues of caramel and amber are a trademark of the Public ale as well as a delicious spruce crispness resulting from a beautiful abundance of hops! Truly an American style ale for the public.

Poured a nice amber, darker than I thought it would be. Huge head, long lasting. slightly cloudy. Some lace.Nice citrus aroma. Hoppy citrus flavor with a citrus finish. A bit of bitter on the finish. Mouth feel is creamy. I still have trouble buying cans but this could change that. Enjoyable.

Can from Total Wines, Sterling VA. Hazy gold with a slight, off-white head. Tangerines and pine with some biscuity malts, before a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Canned earlier Pours a hazed red copper ale with an etched surface of lighter cream foam. Smells of english tea, some caramel malts, some resiny hops and a hint of grapefruit. Flavor is malts, some pekoe, some wood and fruity english yeast. Medium bodied with a low on moderate carb and a wet finish. Quaffable, but not special for me.

12oz can. Pours a dark hazy amber with a medium off white head, with very good lacing through out. Aroma of citrus and pine hops upfront with a good dose of caramel malt and yeast, which slowly intensify as it warms up. Taste is sweet caramel malt, yeast with a good dose of citrus pine hops, some distant notes of grapefruit, orange peel flavor as well. Palate is a medium body, smooth with a slightly sticky mouth feel, good carbonation. Finishes same as taste with some lingering caramel malt and hops bitterness. Overall this is a very good tasty and full flavored brew, very nice.

Flaska. Dimmigt bärnstensfärgad med vitt skum. Dofter av tropiska frukter och karamell. Grape, citron, karamell och tallbarr i smaken. Något torr munkänsla. En helt okey APA med stor beska.

Pours a golden amber color with two fingers of eggshell foam that sticks and floats nicely. The nose is malt forward with medium toasted malts, honey sweetness almost graham cracker and some earthy pinesap notes. The palate follows with a round malt backbone with some added complexity of spice and a sappy pinecone presence. Touch of citrus and a grassy bitterness that really cleans up the palate on the backend.
