This draft brew from the brewery poured a very small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent light orange brown colored body. The funky aroma was dank hoppy malty and musty. The sharp crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The yummy flavor contained notes of semi-sweet mildly bitter mild citrus mild caramel orange peel mildly vinous and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

On tap at RFD (Washington DC). Beautiful, cloudy amber body with a thin, lasting, white frothy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with piney and fruity hints. Its well balanced hoppy taste carries malty, piney, and grapefruit notes. Ends with a long bitter finish. Good stuff.

Side of the can says to put in a tulip or goblet, maybe they don’t know that APA’s are supposed to be in pint glasses which is what this was poured into.
Here we go.
The appearance was a hazy pale burnt orange with a quickly dissipating one finger white foamy head that leaves some strings of lacing sliding nicely.
The smell had a fresh apricot and sweet fresh cut grass rounding into a subtle sweet smooth lemon.
The taste is pretty much the same rolling into a refined citrus sweet hops. Bitterness is barely there. A nice full sweet coating of citrus runs into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with quite a refreshing subtle quality running over my tongue.
Overall, this was a really nice sweet APA with a low bitterness to it. Would be great on a hot Summer’s day.

Decent enough as a pale ale. Not outstanding, but towards the higher end of what I enjoy with Sierra Pale being my gold standard by which all else is judged. If I see it on tap somewhere around town and nothing else speaks to me, I would definitely get one.
