3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled during CBC 2013. Orange pour with a nice khaki head that sticks and laces well. Citrus and floral hops on the aroma, a nice malt balance to back it up. Good flavor, some citrus hops, a touch of bitterness and resin, good balance of dough and caramel. Not bad!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can: Copper/amber color with a small beige head. Decent retention and a little bit of sheet lacing. Aroma is ripe with citrus and florals; just a little bready and caramel malt to balance. The hops are more prevalent in the flavor than a lot of the APAs I’ve had lately... really refreshing. Citrus, floral, and resin. Malt is there, but in the background. Good stuff.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can purchased at Total Wine springfield, VA July 2013
Pours deep orange hue with a small fizzy white head and no lacing. nose of earthy hops, lite pine, some medicinal notes, floral hops and some toasted and caramel malt tones, Very well balanced nose. Flavors of lite herbal hops, lite pine, toasted bread, biscuty malt tones, with some lite mango notes. A very well balanced pale ale here. Again, i think this sample maybe a bit old however, it has held up pretty well. i will update this rating if i get another fresh sample. Short finish with not much bitterness-lingering toasted notes with lite grapefruity hops. Palate is soft and very sessionable. Solid APA.
