Pours orange with a good hop aroma for a pale ale. Caramel and amber flavors lead to a mouthful of hops.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can. Somewhat hazy amber with an over generous dark biege head that eventually settles down. Mild citrus, some pine, light marijuana, relatively fresh, semi-sweet malt. Mild carbonation (maybe it all got lost in the giant head) with a smooth and mild bitterness, becomes dry. Overall its a very smooth and easy to drink beer.

Can at clockwork’s Dec 8th, 2012 tasting. Pours a hazy orange body with white head. Aroma is strong citrus hop. Mouthfeel is bitter with strong citrus flavors dominating. Palate is a bit too bitter for me.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz can from Spirits Middletown. Poured an ugly cloudy orange/amber with some visible floaties and a large foamy off white head. Aroma is nice with old citrus, caramel, wet toast, and a hint of toffee. Palate is a little thin with strong carbonation and a dry lingering bitter finish. Flavor is great, bitter yellow grapefruit, dry toast, citrus rind, grains. Good stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Light hazy amber color out of the can with a foamy off white head. Nose of pine and grapefruit rind hops. This is a very tasty pale ale, with strong bready malts and plenty of pine and grapefruit rind hop burn. Long bitter finish that is quite pleasant. If I could get this beer I would.
