The Public is a delicious easy drinking pale ale made from a simple recipe of quality grain and top notch American hops. Tawny hues of caramel and amber are a trademark of the Public ale as well as a delicious spruce crispness resulting from a beautiful abundance of hops! Truly an American style ale for the public.

Moderate sized off-white head of fine and creamy bubbles. Springtime aromas with some succulent piney hops, oranges, light roasted grains and fresh cut grass. Color is a slightly hazy copper. Wow, more springtime in the flavor. Lots of fresh grass, flowers, a hint of lemon and roasted grains. Rather up front bitterness that keeps the mouth asking for more. Lingering roastyness and bitterness. Very easy drinking for a beer with such considerable bitterness. A very very good APA.

12oz can, thanks to somebody for sharing after the Jackie-O’s 8th Anniversary. Probably Travlr. Very last beer of the night for me. It took some effort to rate this. Hazy orange amber color. Thin, half-inch off-white head. Good rows and dots of lace. Smooth, soft, crisp lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Good, biscuity malt, lightly grapefruity, citrusy hop aroma. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, lightly dry, sweet finish. Interesting pale ale. Lightly spicy hop aroma. Good above average hoppy spicy earthy aroma. Good pale ale.

Poured a nice amber, darker than I thought it would be. Huge head, long lasting. slightly cloudy. Some lace.Nice citrus aroma. Hoppy citrus flavor with a citrus finish. A bit of bitter on the finish. Mouth feel is creamy. I still have trouble buying cans but this could change that. Enjoyable.

Can from Total Wines, Sterling VA. Hazy gold with a slight, off-white head. Tangerines and pine with some biscuity malts, before a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Canned earlier Pours a hazed red copper ale with an etched surface of lighter cream foam. Smells of english tea, some caramel malts, some resiny hops and a hint of grapefruit. Flavor is malts, some pekoe, some wood and fruity english yeast. Medium bodied with a low on moderate carb and a wet finish. Quaffable, but not special for me.

Great citrus nose, small head, slightly bitter citrus. Palate is a bit watery and disappointing.
