COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Public is a delicious easy drinking pale ale made from a simple recipe of quality grain and top notch American hops. Tawny hues of caramel and amber are a trademark of the Public ale as well as a delicious spruce crispness resulting from a beautiful abundance of hops! Truly an American style ale for the public.

Thanks to Travlr for my 1st DC brew! Aroma of fresh citrus/pine with light caramel malts. Appearance is unfiltered caramel orange with sticky white head. Flavor featured fresh, juicy hops and some lingering bitterness in the finish, but not overly so. Palate was bubbly and soft. Well done.

Pours copper orange with a one finger white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, bready malts, grass, and some light sweet malts. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, moderately bitter, medium finish. Overall, a pretty nice, easy drinking, well balanced APA.

Fruity, flowery aroma. Malty, caramel flavor with a little fruit and pine. Dry, smooth finish. First thing I’ve tried from this brewery, and it’s a good one.

B. Pours a clear copper color with white head. Just a little too watery and a little too bitter

Can. Pale and crisp, plenty of hop and just the right bitterness. An added sweet and smooth texture caps this as a fine pale ale.

Solid ale. Pours and copper amber color. Off white head. Amber caramel aroma and similar flavor with a slightly bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Six pack of cans from Yellow Front. A murky medium amber. Thin off-white head. Earthy-floral aromas and flavors. Sharp sweetness in the middle. Light bitter finish.

Draft to taster at Churchkey pour copper with moderate ecru head. Taste mild bitter up front, dank hop, with moderate grainy malt. Sweeter malt mid palate, some peach.

A bit heavy on crystal and/or amber malts, but good balance and drinkability overall. A fairly classic take on the american original.

Can thanks to Eric. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is earthy malt and pine. Medium mouth, citrus, grass, light finish, good.

Airport bar at Reagan National

Quite a dark copper pour for a pale ale, decent hopping but well short of IPA territory, easy to drink but heavy on the caramel malt.
