3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Hugh (144) - Zillebeke, BELGIUM - JUL 23, 2009
I warmed to this simple beer as I got into it. Amber, balanced, unpretentious, awful label. Not sweet, which is a big surprise to a long term 3 Horne drinker. A work of genius in comparison to other beers in this sparsely filled class.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 bierkoning (8107) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - SEP 18, 2009
Bottom fermented says the label, so must be a Dutch version of a kellerbier. Drunk @ the train from Amersfoort to Hengelo. Soft flowery aroma. Malty flowery hopbitter flavor with citrus and a touch of yeat. Lots of citrus in the aftertaste. Quite OK, lots of flavor from a bottom fermented brew.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The smell is honey, malts, floral, and sweetness. The look is clear, yellow in color, and not too much head. The taste is sweet, malts, hops, and floral.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Ungstrup (23961) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 15, 2009
Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of dust and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with light notes of malt, straw, and fruit, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Not enough power. Thanks yespr for sharing.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Mora2000 (2961) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 30, 2010
Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle at a recent tasting.
The beer pours a clear light yellow color with a white head. The aroma is wheat and corn, about like a standard macro beer. The flavor is wheat, Belgian yeast and is pretty sweet overall. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

(33cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye best by 2010) cloudy yellow with some odd bubbles on top. Nose of lightly toasted caramel, cereal grains, honey. Taste of unsweet grains, with a watery light body. Not much going on here.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Golden yellow, slightly hazy with medium head. Malty, toasty nose. Bit sweet, but quite watery. Very little taste to it actually. Was a dissapointment.
