4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 YogiBeera (2436) - Hamburg, GERMANY - SEP 16, 2002
This beer hits the spot. Nice chocolate, alcohol and caramel aroma and flavor. Also tastes roasted coffee. Nice coffeebrown body, no head. Fizzy carbonation, crisp with a medium aftertaste. Could be a hint non sweeter, but a beer, just for me.

Bottle. 6%. Weak, sourish sweet aroma. Cloudy, very dark colour, unstable head. Nice flavour, sweet but not too sweet. Quite dry. Fruity, liquorice aftertaste, hint of yeast. Very nice dubbel, well-balanced and with no off-flavours.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 JonMoore (1573) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2004
Bottle. Murky deep ruby red with a nice 1cm tall off-white head. Aroma is malty, yeasty, dark fruity and brown sugary. Well balanced roast malts and hops in the taste, which is generally sort of mild. Quite thin but still manages a nice smooth mouthfeel. A good Dutch Belgian Ale.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 24, 2006
(Bottled) Very dark, hazy brown color with a small, creamy and lacy, beige head. Rye-puddingy-malty, licoricey aroma with ginger. Spicy, licorice-malty flavor with apricot, and quite low bitterness. A roasted-malty, slightly bitter finish. Medium-bodied, not very thick, but smooth palate with soft carbonation. This one is also somewhat homebrewish and thin, but overall a very nice and smooth, balanced dubbel.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 pivo (2540) - GERMANY - SEP 16, 2002
Grayish-cloudy brown color. Very fizzy. Chocolate and malt aromas laced with a prominent alcohol smell. Toffee-like malt taste, gritty in the middle and kinda of peppery, but without a pronounced bitter at all. Thinner than expected but still full. Kinda complex.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 TBone (9414) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 25, 2005
Bottled, alc. 6%, (BBE 2006)
Almost opaque, very dark ruby, small head. Interesting spicey aroma: coffee liquer and roasted malts. Pils-, amber-, chocolate-, caramel-, munich- and crystal malts have been used here and many of these you can taste too: roasted chocolate, burnt caramel, licorice.
