Slightly hazy amber beer. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Rich malt that tastes a little aged. Fruit and a little minerals and some aniseed. Joins up in to a pretty well integrated beer. Smooth, tasty and very drinkable.

Very interesting beer. Some vegetable, darker fruit, quite bitter for a triple but never too much. Developing aftertaste. Bottle from Wijnhuis Belgers in Den Bosch.

I have had this beer years ago, it came in a 75 cl bottle. To be honest I don’t know what it looked, smelled and tasted like, but I remember enjoying it. I Have not seen this beer anymore anywhere.

Bottle@Home. Sweet fruity aroma, lightly spiced and coriander. Yellow colour, off-white head, good lace. Sweet, light bitter, lightly spiced, fruity, hint of caramel. Thinnish for the ABV.

Cloudy golden with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma with coriander and ripe fruits and caramel notes. Flavour was sweet and quite complex with ripe fruits, yeast, caramel, malt and coriander notes. Very nice.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is extremely spicy - cardemomme, combined with notes of malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of cardemomme as well as notes of malt and some yeast, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. It has a nice body. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2009 Bottle, 9%. Good spicy aroma, aniseed and something else which suits it. Hazy golden colour. Very small white head. Good spicy flavour, a lot like the aroma. A bit of sweetness to make it quite nice.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2009 Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with an off-white head. Very spicy and sophisticated aroma even though I canot really pinpoint what spice. Medium body, fruit and spices - caradamon? Very smooth finish with no bitterness. A very different and very pleasant Tripel. 211009

Bottle: Poured a murky orange brown with a creamy off white head. Aroma is strong with fruit and spice. Taste is sweet fruit and malty. Finish is dry and tingly. A tripel, but not what I usually get out of a tripel. This one is very impressive.
