Bottled, 2004 version. Yeast aroma at first, than raisin and fruity. Ruby color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, fruity, blackcurrant. The feeling reminded me much of guinness draught, creamy and thin.

Reddish brown pour with a ring of tan head. Nose is caramel and slightly roasted malt and some floral hops. Taste is a bit chalky with lots of rich malt.

(33cl bottle 2010 vintage thanks to bu11zeye) rich clear ruby with a thick tan head. Nose of caramel, florals, and vegetal. Taste is very metallic, light caramel and linger is caramel and nice.

Nice brown / dark red colored beer. Don’t smell much. Ok taste, but low carbo and body. tastes a bit thin and weak to me.

This one just isn’t one to remember for a long time. Guess it’s a decent beer, bit boring though.

Der klebrige Malzantrunk wirkt fad und ist zu mild. Im Mittelteil wird das Malz intensiver, bleibet aber oberflächlich, das Bier somit kaum besser. Zu spät wird das Malz schokoladig, kann sich aber auch hier vom faden Image nicht ganz befreien. Wenig herb, im Nachgeschmack trocken. Röstig, kaffeeartig. Zum Ende wird das Bier zwar gut, kann den faden Antrunk aber nicht wieder ausgleichen. 11/9/9/10/8/9

(330ml bottle) Pours a hazy amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of raisins, plum, caramel, and tobacco. Flavor of raisins, plum, light roasted malt, and caramel with a somewhat dry finish.

Bottle courtesy bu11zeye. Pours a clear dark orange to red color. Round ring of white head. Aroma is light caramel grains with sweet perfume. Flavor is dry grain and nutty. Small sweetness but finishes with sunflower husks.

Bottle 330ml. Color very dark brown with small creamy head. Aroma coffee, grain. Taste was weak, grain, coffee.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Very dark Bock. Rich and smooth, lots of depth. Slightly creamy. Long malty finish, no bitterness.

Pitch black beer. if you like a bock with coffee and chocolate hints this is a beer for you. Right amount of alcohol too.
