Mild gusher. Murky brown - amber beer, good pale tan head. Nose of bitter caramel and brackish water, some cherry and raspberry. Palate is light and fairly dry, mild fine carbonation. Bitter caramel malts, a brackish bitterness. Dry and bitterish raspberry - cherry. Semi dry finish. Fairly unpleasant and surely not right?

[10/11/13] Bottle at Arend’s Nest in Amsterdam. Nice deep red color. Decent cherry aroma, slightly candy-ish. Sweet flavor of cherries, light graininess, sugary hints and a light tart note. Light to medium-bodied. Kinda OK, but not very good.

Countbeer (5613) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - APR 12, 2013
Bottle: Medium sized, vast and slowly changing creamy foamy head with a light cherry color sprinkle to it. A murky orange brown more to brown colored beer. Aromas of yeast, malts, nuts, berries, some slight yoghurt sour, paper, perfume, spices (pepper and cloves), barleys and corn. Flavours of cream, malts, sweeter and smoother grains, some red fruit, nice yeasty touch, some nice bitter tones, light light sour alike berry flavours, light something sweet ish which is nicely balanced and overtaken by the beer itself. Nothing sweet here! Some hints of spices, herbs and crispy beer tones. Aftertaste is malty, bitter and less sweet with some screamy spices and a hint of cardboard. Low to medium carbo, soft light creamy mouthfeel, good medium body and a light creamy texture. A good fruit beer in my opinion: it’s balanced, you taste beer, you taste fruit and it’s not a sweet cloying mess at all. I like it!
