3.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is an amazing aroma, and I seldom give 10! The deep fresh liqurice with honey is great. But the disappointment after tasting is big, as the taste is nothing special. The finish is thin. Dark body, small thick beige head. Bottled at arendsnest, Amsterdam.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I copied everything off of the label in the description here when I added this beer. This was from a bottle at Arendnnest in Amsterdam. There's no real indication of the style on the bottle, so I might be slightly off on the specifics. The label does sat 'Cat. S Bier'. Anyway, it is a darker tan copper brown color with a surprisingly strong hop aroma. Nothing compared to a North American hop aroma, but still pretty decent for the milder beers the Dutch seem to favor. Good malt body to back up the hop bitterness. Fizzy in the mouth, but otherwise quite a good beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Darkbrown coloured beer, white head, leaves a lace. Slightly roasted aroma, sweet. Sweet taste with notes of ’drop’, lingering bitterness. Just a bit thin on the palate but all in all very nice brew.
