Bottle shared at chriso’s in London to commemorate Gene’s visit. Pours clear amber with a foamy off-white head. The nose has tangy semi-dark malts, bread, faint caramel. Light-medium sweet flavor with more tangy, almost tart berries, plum, cherry, bread. Medium bodied with active carbonation. Tart berry finish, some keather, grainy bread. Novel stuff. Not too bad overall.

1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
The aroma is malty, slightly floral and really not very attractive compared to other lagers of the same type. The foam is fine. Thin, but fine. Taste is sweet and very much influenced by caramel malt. The alcohol, which probably can be considered to be a little high for this type of beer is a little too pervasive. As a whole, I regard it as generally all right.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Copenhagen 21/6 2015. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Pours clear copper yellow with white head. Settles as 0,5 cm layer of foam. Aroma is sour and tinged with alcohol. Medium carbonation. Taste is malty sweet and boozy. Sharp sourness in aftertaste. Typical Danish "luxury beer". Combination of high alcohol content and sweetness is rather unpleasant. As a special service it stays with you for a while.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Aroma contains only malt with no real hops. The color is reddish golden and clear, with a short white head. The taste features light sweetness, medium bitterness and medium acid, but unfortunately also metallic notes. The alcohol is noticable. Light body with average carbonation and a bitter finish. Not worth seeking out.
