2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 seymour (1099) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 25, 2012
Tall bottle brought back from Denmark, something to do with the crown prince? Thanks, John! It poured a mostly clear reddish amber color with some chill haze, short-lived white foam but a persistent thin ring of bubbles and lace. Swirling would kick up a small head each time. Aromas and flavors of nebulous grains, maybe a little pils malt, caramelized brown sugar, faint noble hops, alcohol, mild black pepper phenols. A little rough around the edges, it probably would’ve been better super-cold. Medium body and carbonation, sticky and bittersweet aftertaste. Better by far than American malt liquors, smoother but less attenuated. One of the more drinkable Strong Pale Lager/Imperial Pils I’ve had.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 LookMomNoHands (1055) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 21, 2011
Bottle 0,5 l. from the supermarket. Another of the usually shitty Harboe-brews - this one in disguise as "De 5 gårde" - "The 5 farms". Very weak aroma, with some bread. Pours a orange/amber color, clear. Minimal, white head, average carbonation. Taste is caramel, but the alcohol is very dominant. Aftertaste has a light sweetness, watery finish. A little more taste than a strong discount beer. Do not throw away your money on this one....

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 19, 2006
Pretty deep amber colour with a small head. One-dimensional malty aroma. Flavour is sweet and malty with a slightly alcoholic finish. Considering the price, not too bad.

A quite sweet and yeasty brew. Hints of alcohol in both aroma and flavour. Round and soft, with a slightly burned aftertaste.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 flemmingwillum (811) - Nysted, DENMARK - AUG 11, 2006
Pretty good head, which lasts good too. Aroma with caramel, sweetness from malts, and a little alcohol. The beer is refreshing and tastes of malt and is kind of sourish, but the sourness isn’t bad because of the fact that it is well balanced with the sweetness. A little caramel and alcohol can be tasted too, so you can say that the aroma has kept it’s promises. The aftertaste is a little more sweet than the rest of the beer, and is spicy with a nice amount of hops. The negative sides are that the beer at first can seem a little watery, and that the head tastes a little metallic, but it doesn’t matter that much.

Amber with decent head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and nuts. The flavour is sweet, a bit sour and dominated by alcohol.

Low white head on an amber body. Nice full taste, malty and a little caramel and liquorice. Not bad, a good drink.
