Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 10, 2007 Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge bubbly orange head. The aroma is sweet malty but with some boring notes of dusty hops and a bit of oranges - a bit stale. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, but also lighter notes of alcohol, nuts, straw, and dusty hops, leading to a bitter end with light notes of alcohol. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 9, 2008 Bottled. Clear dark amber, small head. Heavy syrup and vegetable aroma. Extremely sweet, fruity and thick with loads of sugar, metal and resin. Cloying, sticky and plain awful. Papsoe (10551), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 22, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a pretty, clear orangey brown with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish caramel aroma with some fruity accents. Medium body with notes of malt and caramel - I also believe the burned sugars are detectable. Rather raw bitterness in the finish. 220806 yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Sep 17, 2007 50 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange golden with a huge light orange head.
