Craig on Heat Tasting at ChrisO’s. Clear deep amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and light, semi dry. Little fine carbonation. Plain malts. Vague notion of some tangy fruits. Light dry finish. Crushingly dull.

0.5 bottle. Clear, dark carmine color and a small, tanned head. Very distinct malty aroma composed of caramel, wood, and toast. Taste is malty as well with loads of caramel, some dough, and a bit of nuts. Light body, thin texture, and below-average carbonation. Finish is medium long and a tad sourer than the rest. Overall the beer starts off nicely with a clear, balanced aroma and a good character but then loses its appeal through extreme wateriness.
