3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. An unclear dark red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of yeast, malt, and lots of spices among them cloves. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, spices, and yeast, of them most cardemomme, leading to a very dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, 5%. Weak malty aroma, slightly spicy. Cloudy amber colour. Almost no head. The flavour is malty, caramelly, and a little yeasty. Hint of fruit and paper. Like a dubbel, but with less alcohol, which is good.

Small beige head. Clear amber body with light carbonation.
Earthy barnyard and horse blanket aroma with fruity notes.
Dryish earthy barnyard and horse blanket taste (very similar to
aroma) with wooden salty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft
mouthfeel. Dryish wooden barnyard and horse blanket aftertaste
with caramelly fruity earthy notes. It’s basically the same
flavour all the way through, and that’s totally dominated by a
brett-like character. (0.33l bottle, from de Bierkoning,
