Brown, hazy. Grey solid head. Bready, yeasty, nutmeg, figs. Full bodied flavour, bit of fatty sweetness. Nutty as well. Like it! (33cl bottle)

I very much enjoyed this Amber Ale. It has a very nice thick texture and a wonderful smokey aroma.

Bottle from Daan. Thanks! Amber colour, white foam. Soft carbonation. Light fruity aroma with notes of brett and smoke. Well balanced. Easy drinkable. Good!

Bottle at ’t Arendsnest. Pours hazy copper with a small, creamy head. Fruity aroma, hints of biscuit. Very bitter flavours, hints of sourness and farmyard. A bit Orvalesque, but without its body. Quite interesting.

0,33l fles. Aroma is tikkie zuur de smaak komt hier niet mee overeen. Hier komt ook wat rook naar boven. Flinke body voor het ABV

Ziet er goed uit, maar valt toch een beetje tegen. Smaak is snel weg en beetje muf....

Opaque amber to light brown, good frothy tan head, foamy layer remains all te way; sweet smoky nose, smoked sausage, roasted, peat, leather; smoky bitter taste; medium body, creamy texture; bitter smoky finish. A kinda lite version of a rauchbier, not bad at al but no session beer.

3/22/2011 2:11:30 PM Bottle from Bierkoning. Nice amber body, slightly murky, with thin head. Nose of fruits, malts. Taste caramel, malts, but also quite smoked. Syrupy rich texture. Quite nice but different.
