Bottle from Douberd - many thanks, Christos! The beer pours out in a cloudy yellow colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of Belgian yeast and ligth hops. Taste of fresh, light hops, light sour nuts, dust, yeast, malt and grass. Hints of basement and leaves. Nice one.

Bottle 330 ml. Into a tumbler glass. ABV 5% Clear body with lots of activity in it, dark yellow coloured. Huge white head, maybe three fingers tall, but froathy with low retention, although at the end a thin line of foam remains on the surface. Non existent lacing. Aroma of spices at first, seems to go away fast, giving its place to a light apple smell. Not the typical witbier aroma, it doesn’t have any orange or coriander. Coriander can be found on the taste though, along with something that can’t put my finger on it. A little bit medicinal maybe, like the plastic case of a pill. Medium body, the better aspect of this beer actually, as I expected something super watery. Okay carbonation. Overall not that bad, after a while that off taste I couldn’t describe disappears. Actually maybe better than other belgian whites that stay faithful to the style

Bottled, date Jan 2013, large sample. Almost clear pale golden color, medium white head. Aroma of grainy malts, slight tart note, barnyard, horseblanket, some coriander, slight bubblegum. I smell Brett, which I wonder if its intended. But I love Brett :-) Quite dry in taste, slight spicy, bit citrussy refreshing, soft sourness. Obvious infection, which gives it some extra complexity :-)

wazig geel met minimaal witte kraag
aroma: citrus, mout, zoetje, fris
smaken: medium zoet, matig bitter, hooi, koriander, fruitig, hop
ietwat romig/glad, normale co2, afdronk kruidig
unieke smaken van bepaalde kruiden/fruit die anders zijn dan de standaard witbieren, maar erg lekker !
