Bottle @ FoneFan, 7%. Very dark brown with medium tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, medium sweet, little liquorice, little dry, hop and a little bitter.

Color: dark black beer with no carbonization and medium brown foam. Smell: wheat and caramel. Taste: malt, caramel. Aftertaste : sugar complexity, caramel and roasted malt.

Pleasant stout that drinks well. Simple coffe taste, some caramel and hints of chocolate. Overall not a heavy stout but a very fine beer without pretentions.

Black, brown head. Aroma of roasted malts with some hops and sweetness. Taste fairly straight forward. Mildly roasted malts, quiet some hops and vague coffee and chocolate. Ok body and carbonation.

A black colored beer, with a foamy beige head. The aroma of dark, little roasted malt, with some fruits and some spices. The taste is dry bitter, some roasted malt, sweet notes of fruits with flowers. The aftertaste is mostly sweet with in the back soft chocolate bitter.

Bottled. A black beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, a bit of brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, yeast, and spices, leading to a bitter roasted finish.

33cl bottle @ home. Pitch black color, full sized very light brown head that leaves fair to good lacing. Smell malts, a lot of roasted malts and some smoke, some coffee, some ash. Taste malts, roasted malts, light to moderately smoke, lightly ash, lightly coffee, some bitter. A bit thin bodied imo, medium carbonation.

Almost black with a beige head.
Aroma: roasted and creamy.
Taste: roast, milk chocolate, only light coffee and licorice.
Medium-bodied.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Near black and opaque with an off-white head. Plain chocolate, dark fruit aroma with decent roastiness. Flavour of coffee, more chocolate, with a touch of sweetness on the tongue and a dry, toasty finish. Enjoyable.
