Pours a very dark brown with a small tan head. Aromas of coffee, roasted malts. Medium body. Smooth finish.

Color: dark black beer with no carbonization and medium brown foam. Smell: wheat and caramel. Taste: malt, caramel. Aftertaste : sugar complexity, caramel and roasted malt.

Pleasant stout that drinks well. Simple coffe taste, some caramel and hints of chocolate. Overall not a heavy stout but a very fine beer without pretentions.

Bottle in a hotel room in Amsterdam. Black coloured with a small beige head. Roasted aroma of caramel, hay and liquorice. Roasted flavour of caramel, liquorice and metal. Roasted finish.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Pretty black coloured brew with that sweet stout smell, slightly bitter and spicy taste, somelike that Belgian Guinness only slightly better.

Bottle. Nice head with medium duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, fruits, chocolate, caramel and hops.

Bottle @ French Oktoberfest Tasting Ulfborg, 2012. Pours dark brown with a creamy head. Vague roast, chocolate and caramel. Medium and smooth body. Dry finish.

Yum I love a good stout. And this is one, though the percentage is quite high (7,5% on my label). It has all the things that make a stout nice: the dryness, the coffee tones etc. Bottle from De Bierkoning.

Bottle. Almost black and opague. Roast and coffee in the aroma. Malty roasty sweetish flavor with licorice, coffee and apple syrup. Full bodied. Powerful beer.
