33cl bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis. Pours black with tan head. Aroma: smoky, coffee, chocolate with hints of something sour. Flavour is chocolate with coffee coming in later. A bit too watery for the high abv. Sticky mouthfeel. Overall quite an OK stout. I wonder what these are going to do next.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of licorice and malts.
Tastes of chocolate, liquorice, with a bitter roasted finish. Thinnish mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle. Almost black and opague. Roast and coffee in the aroma. Malty roasty sweetish flavor with licorice, coffee and apple syrup. Full bodied. Powerful beer.

Leicht rauchiger Beginn. Pfeffrig werdend, die Röstigkeit sinkt. Angenehme Bitterkeit, nun steigt die Röstigkeit wieder (stark). Weich, röstig, nett! 11/9/10/9/6/10

Dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma is sweet with a touch of licorice. Taste is a coffee assault with an aluminum tinge.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty and light breadish. Roasted dark malty, breadish and liqourice. Spiced and dark roasted malty. Bitter and dry roasted malty finish. Lasting liqourice impression.

Aroma is deep roast, some mocca and liquorice, touch of metal/vegetable and regular malt. Flavour is quite dry indeed, loads of roast and liquorice, with a strong metallic sidenote. Some baltic notes, but unfortunately the metal dominates a bit too much.

33cl, at 7.5%Vol, new exclusive Dutch brew Anno 2011, from De Bierkoning Amsterdam, not complex dry Stout, roasted/malty and slightly spicy, yet balanced, hazy, small head, nice brew
