Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.

Quite a simple one. Straw mixed up with a bit of honey and some yeast. Easy to drink, uninspiring but honest. Nothing special at all.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
The bottle came from Douberd in a trade - many thanks! It pours out like many Belgian Ales in a cloudy, light, dirty amber colour with airy low head and medium body. The aroma was quite boring and dusty with notes of straw, caramel and hops. Taste of straw, hops, Belgian yeast, nuts, hay, basement and flowers. It is drinkable, no question, but just quite boring compared with a unpleasant, dusty and stinky finish. Not bad, but not better than the average Belgian Ale.

Bottle, 330 ml. Into a tulip glass. ABV 7%
Bright golden orange colour on the body with no activity in it. Mostly clear. Tall snow white head, with very good retention and heavy lacing left behind.
Aroma of yeast, lots of sweet peaches.
Taste of yeast, some brett like notes, nice and fruity with peaches again, sugar. Quite sweet but there is a touch of sourness at the end that balances it. Aftertaste is slighty bitter, very good.
Medium thin body, good carbonation.
Overall a pleasant surprise it was this one, very good.

Tap @ Arendsnest, small sample. Slight cloudy yellow color, short head. Aroma of slight spicy yeast, hint of farmhouse, bit hay, hint of bubblegum. In taste it’s only slightly sweet, slightly bitter, bit dry. Usually, beers of this brewery have way too much spices. But this one is actually quite ok. I had it before also on a small sample and it is pretty much similar compared to a year ago. I quite liked it.

33cl bottle shared by Joes. Very hazy almost opaque pale yellow color, small white to off-white head that diminishes very quickly. Smell and taste are pretty weird imo: lightly malts, flowers, sweetness, herbs, spices and something I can’t really name. Just weird. I’ve had a lot worse though. Don’t like it, didn’t throw it away either but I was happy we split the bottle.
