Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer wiht a thin white head. The aroma has notes of yeast, malt, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, fruits, malt, and a bit of straw, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

23rd September 2011 Bottle from Bier Koning. Solo hungover tasting in my hotel room! Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is slightly soft. Strong pale malt. Hint of herbs and a whisper of honey. Dry finish. Doesn’t hang together for me but I do appreciate the brewer trying to be different.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Borresteijn (2757) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 7, 2011
33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet cooked apple, cinnamon, green apples. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, apple cinnamon roll, some honey, but also a bit too much plastic in there, weird light bitterness. Medium bodied. Didn’t really like this.

The positives are in the beginning with a great aroma full of spice and honey. Gets murky afterwards with a muddy bitter aftertaste. This actually us better with some crackers. Really ugly beer too. Bottle from De Bierkoning.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 altonbrownd (3581) - Brussels, BELGIUM - AUG 9, 2011
Bottle from Bierkoning. Murky amber with thin head. Nose of pepper, spices and hops. Taste is quite peppery. But there are also hops and citrus. Quite a strange brew. Some honey in there.
