Bottle. Reddish brown color. peach, pear, coreander and ginger in the aroma. Malty flavor, sour with hints of pepper and coreander. A cherry like sourness. I think the sourness is probably unintented, but it works quite well in this beer.

Unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to heavy spicy, clove, cinnamon, ginger. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy spicy bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081213]

Nearly no head left, orange-copper beer. Sparandrap (like Band-aid), mint, camphor. Oh God. Bitter, camphor, gingerbread, mint. Sharp aggressive MF, medium bodied. Ouch. Not my taste.

Bottle: Poured an orange red brown with lots of carbonated bubbles, head was a thin off white. Aroma is caramel and warm to the nasals with fruit and spice. Taste is a brash carbonation with caramel, malts, and fruit. Finish is dry and tingly.

Bottle, 33 cl. Yesterday @ festival Zwevegem. Hazy brown color, with beige head. Aroma some spice, caramel, bit roasted malts. Medium body. Taste sweet, caramel, bit spice, roasted malts. I like Avondrood a little more.

(33cl bottle) Hazy, copper colour with a short, light-beige frothy head. Moderately sweet, toast-malty aroma with caramel, spicy notes and a lighter plumy tinge. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly toasty and robust malty base; sweet and quite fruity (plums) finish with a light spicy touch and an almost brandy-like alcohol. Likeable.
