3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (6728) - Antwerpen, - MAR 13, 2007
Colour of old gold, big bubbles rising to rather dense, differently bubbled white head. End of bottle fully hazy. A bit vinous, like sweet, rather strong white wine. White candi sugar & alcohol, faint spicey/yeasty. Slightly roasted/toasted-like taste. Quite sweet, and a tinge of spices, as well as of citrus. Medium bodied, reasonable attenuation. A bit fizzy. Not too bad; a bit like a Van Steenberge tripel with more yeast and more CO². Thanks Sebastian, rare one!

Hazy orange yellow beer, off-white head. Aroma is dough, yeast and some hops. Taste is not too interesting, like aroma.

Dark blond with light soapy head. Aroma is quite malty. Flavour quite well balanced with a rounded maltiness and a touch of hop in the middle. Flavour fades somewhat in the finish. A bit too thin and watery.

Bottle. [thanks bierkoning]
Kinda muddy yellow with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma is sweet, some grapefruit, oranges, crisp malts, roses and lavender. Medium carbonation, fairly light mouthfeel. Some slight dryness. Flavour has mild hoppiness on top of fairly crisp malts. Still some lavender and heather in there. Grapefruity hops. Mild bitterness. Fresh and drinkable but also fairly light and indistinct.

This beer was quite okay. Just a tad bit average though. Easy to drink and easy to forget.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 kerolasa (377) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 25, 2011
Orange, unclear and comes with a tiny amount of yeast at the bottom of the bottle. Needles to say, unfiltered. Smell has citrus. I’d bet this is made of wheat. Taste indicates the same, but it calling this to wheat beer would be wrong. This is clearly a belgian style beer, which I justify with a quite extensive alcohol taste even thou the percentage is not extremely high. Taste is sweet and alcoholic, hops are light and there’s not whole lot of malts either. Aromas are on hay, floral, bubblegum and other nice, bit girly, things. Personally I don’t like this beer, which is the reason to give low score. I can imaging someone else could find this very good.

Bottled 330ml
Thanks bierkoning!
Hazy orange color, small white head. Sweet fruity nose with hints of orange peels. Medium-bodied. Citrusy, a bit fruity sugary, some hops, alcohol in the flavor. Clean, basic Belgian ale, good Proef-quality.
