Bottle. Pours brown with a red glow. Aroma is raisin and some caramel. Taste is sweet with raisins, malts and some alcohohol. Medium body and carbo. Not a big fan of sweet beers like this, but this is quite well done.

Clear ruby red colour with large beige head. Aroma is caramel as is the taste of the beer. Medium carbonation and body.

Bottle@Home. Sweet, light bitter, fruity, hint of toffee, soft mouth feel. I know this is a style not many really appreciate but it’s well done.

Slightly cloudy brown ale, thin white head. Aroma of sweet malt, flavour is a bit overly sweet, caramel malt, bitter aftertaste.

Bottle @ PRZH Winterbierfest. Brown color, cloudy. Off white head. Aroma’s: erm, not much at all in the smell, only retronasal I got some sweet/red fruit, yeast & spices. Flavor is sweet, lightly bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes with caramel, lightly roasted, lightly bitter. OK, just a pity about the lack of aroma.

Bottle. Beautiful ruby amber color, small bright tan head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is sweet and lightly spiced caramel. Full bodied.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Soft caramelly aroma with a hint of hopjesvla. Malty sweet flavor with caramel and butterscotch. Slightly roasty. Sticky mouthfeel.

50cl bottle shared with a friend. Clear dark red / amber colored beer with a medium sized off-white to slightly beige head. Smell and taste malts, light to medium sweetness, slightly alcohol. Medium body and carbonation. Decent.

Bottle 0,5ltr: Clear Brown coloured brew with red glows like an true Scotch Ale, sweet bitter taste with mouth warming feel. Good one from this new brewery.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. The aroma is thin but malty. The flavour is sweet, medium bitter, warm and a little rich. A good example of a Scottish ale!
