Sweet fruit malt aroma. Murky red orange brown colour with poor head and lacing. Bitter malt hop flavour with spice. Fizzy palate.

Bottled (BB 04/2009)
Clear pinky-copper color, big cloudy white head. Aroma is not very strong: candy lemonade or lavander and citrus. Same kind of herbal lemonady rasberry and rosewater flavor. Plastic, artifical. Fizzy. Quickly vanishing aftertaste. Odd brew.

Bottle at Publick House in Boston. Was highly recommended by the waitress, but I wish I got something else. Light blonde body with a flarge rothy head, Aroma of spice, citrus. Flavor comes through a bit at first but just dies on the finish. Just completely disappears. Really odd beer.

Pours the color of cream soda witha purple tint, which kinda doesn’t look right. Slightly cloudy. There is a ton of foam on the pour. Must be a Belgium. Aroma is like cherry cough syrup. Flavor is bitter, and fruity, and a little alcohol. It burns a little going down. Good lacing. Full flavored finish. Decent lacing.

Starts off as a gusher. Frothy, pink tinged head. Murky, peachy-pink body. Good lacing on the head. Aroma is pretty nice too with raspberry, yeast, rotting fruits and sugar. Now the bad: it is undrinkably salty and very yeast forward. Mouth feel is dry, dry, dry. A complete drain pour, that started off looking and smelling fine. A brewing mistake? A crappy bottle? Bad recipie? I am not sure, but the stuff in my glass was horrible.

Bottle, 6%. Raspberry aroma. Moldy raspberry flavour. No fruit added according to label. Dark golden colour. Small white head. Watery with unpleasant bitterness.

So this brewery really likes labels that look like they are from the 70s. Was I surprised to see that this is not an old bottle at all. To me it seems like they are going for a "Trappist" appeal. It pours with a strong and foamy head. It sticks to the sides and never really dissipates. The body is clear amber with a light pink hue. Aroma is burnt malts, light rotting fruit, and faint champagne sweetness. Taste is light rotting fruit sweetness with a stale white bread finish. A lightly bubbly feel. Bottom line: looks nice but everything else is unimpressive.
11.2oz bottle, best before 2008/01/08.

33 cL bottle, thanks to MiP. Pours slight hazy orange with a white head. Raspberry aroma, slight acidic and sweet. Flavour is raspberry and slight acidic flavour with a dry malt base. Ends with a light acidity into the finish with a light lingering berry note.
